Audit of San Diego Police Department's Response to Peaceful Protesters

In order to audit the City of San Diego Police Department response to peaceful protesters; a fake peaceful protest was advertised to be held at the Police Department located at 1401 Broadway.

I arrived at the San Diego Police Station to find a barricade surrounding the Station and blocking all of the roads around the station. The Police had commandeered private sector buildings to secure their barricades to the walls of private sector buildings. There were multiple police vehicles and Officers stationed around the Police Department.

In a Government of the People; the San Diego Police Department seized a government building from The People. Private Citizens were prevented from accessing the government building or the public roadways surrounding the government building.

When I questioned an Officer as to where the peaceful protest would be held the Officer smiled and pointed to the street, where he knew that the Police would then be able to ‘legally’ arrest peaceful protesters for ‘blocking the road’ even though the Police had themselves set up barriers and ‘blocked the roads’.

The theme of the peaceful protest was to address the City’s treatment of the Homeless Community. The San Diego Police Department’s response was to violate State and Federal Laws to protect their revenue flow and illegal activities.

The San Diego City Council are creating ‘feel-good’ budget items like ‘Clean San Diego’ and ‘Homeless Strategies’, but the money is being funneled to the Police. ‘CleanSD’ is a front to pay Police $6 Million/year in Overtime Pay to terrorize the Homeless Community. Over $60 million was allocated for ‘Homeless Strategies’, but the City can not produce any records to show how the money was spent.

The actual site of the protest was Mayor Todd Gloria’s house because it is the Mayor and City Council that are ‘approving’ the fake budgets and the illegal activity of their Police Force. The City of San Diego funnel over half the City’s entire budget to their Police, which has resulted in mass homelessness and cops that are predatory criminals.
